Trama
Quando un detective della polizia si fa strada verso una tipica giornata di lavoro, scopre presto che la realtà può essere molto più strana della Twilight Zone. Questo ritratto ironico, provocatorio e allo stesso tempo realistico della Società moderna induce lo spettatore a riflettere sulla finzione La vita a volte si rivela essere, dove l'inganno e il tradimento prosperano ogni istante in cui interagiamo l'uno con l'altro.
Esattamente cos'è Unexpected Confrontation? Un thriller poliziesco, la definizione più appropriata e che riesce a calzargli meglio. Il film, perchè stiamo parlando di un lungometraggio realizzato con meno di 8.000 euro, di Luis Lobato Macedo rispecchia il miglior modo di fare cinema senza ricorrere ad enormi liquidità economiche. Le caratteristiche del low budget ci sono tutte, molti aspetti tecnici soffrono di alcuni vincoli dettati dalle capacità economiche. Eppure il film piace, ben articolato e con un'attrice protagonista che dovrebbe rilasciare oggi stesso un'intervista per noi. Da sola regge il peso del film, senza sbagliare un tempo, un'azione.
Peccato per il sonoro, scadente in alcune situazioni e per l'aspetto visivo, troppo spesso inferiore alla aspettative. Ma Macedo riesce nell'impresa di scrivere e dirigere un film che forse non ha troppe pretese se non quella di dire: io posso fare di più. Penso di non sbagliarmi nell'affermare che, nel prossimo film molti "errori" potranno essere mascherati grazie ad una migliore luminosità ambientale.

Plot
When a police detective makes his way to a typical day at work, he soon discovers that reality can be much stranger than the Twilight Zone. This ironic, provocative and at the same time realistic portrait of modern society leads the viewer to reflect on fiction. Life sometimes turns out to be, where deception and betrayal thrive every instant in which we interact with each other.
Exactly what is Unexpected Confrontation? A police thriller, the most appropriate definition and that manages to get better. The film, because we are talking about a feature film made with less than € 8,000, by Luis Lobato Macedo reflects the best way to make cinema without resorting to huge economic liquidity. The characteristics of the low budget are all there, many technical aspects suffer from some constraints dictated by economic abilities. Yet the film likes, well articulated and with a leading actress who should release an interview for us today. It alone holds the weight of the film, without making a mistake, an action.
Too bad for the sound, poor in some situations and for the visual aspect, too often below expectations. But Macedo manages to write and direct a film that perhaps does not have too many pretensions but to say: I can do more. I think I'm not wrong in saying that in the next film many "mistakes" can be masked thanks to a better environmental brightness.
