Lo ammetto, mi sono accostato a Cakra Buana con tantissima diffidenza. Forse eccessiva. Pensavo al solito film con la classica morale ed il giro di Karma che non manca mai. Mi sono sbagliato completamente e devo dare a questo Musical il giusto spazio per la sua grandezza.
Trama
Dopo aver vagato per diversi anni, Chakra torna nel suo piccolo villaggio. Dopo il suo ritorno a casa, scopre che il suo villaggio ha perso la pace a causa della prossima stagione secca. La salute in declino del leader del villaggio ha reso la cosa peggiore e costringe suo figlio, che è Chakra, a condurre nel bel mezzo della catastrofe. I suoi amici più vicini, Birawa e Laksmi che sono fratelli, la presenza rafforzano Chakra nei momenti difficili. Birawa vede che sua sorella e Chakra sono felici insieme e crede che la loro presenza possa aiutare Cakra. Nel disperato tentativo di diventare un leader, Cakra alla fine guida il suo popolo durante la stagione secca, ma fallisce miseramente. Gli abitanti del villaggio, arrabbiati per il fatto che Chakra abbia respinto le sue anticipazioni, hanno chiesto la sua responsabilità. Cakra rivela che vuole essere lasciato solo. Laksmi conforta Cakra, ma a malincuore la ferisce. Nel frattempo, le persone che non amano Cakra supportano Galuh a conquistare la leadership. E apparentemente Galuh usa la situazione per disturbare le persone più vicine a Cakra, inclusa Laksmi.
Chi è Galuh? Perché aggiunge intenzionalmente amarezza alla vita di Cakra?
Cakra Buana non riguarda solo la vita di Chakra, è una storia sul tortuoso viaggio della ruota della vita che gli umani devono superare, e qualche volta l'umano non può proprio eluderlo.
Bene, dalla trama vi sarete chiesti: siamo alle solite. Ed invece è proprio qui che scatta la magia. Musiche spettacolari e voci stupende animeranno la storia di Cakra come nessuno, negli ultimi anni e con un budget inferiore a 10.000 euro, abbia mai fatto. Complimenti al regista Massimo Burhanuddin ed a Enry Johan Jaohari per le musiche. Ottime ambientazioni, ottime scene, ottima fotografia e superba regia. Le musiche doneranno un tocco di superiorità non da poco. Il lungometraggio affronta dei temi drammatici e mette al centro le insidie della vita e le mille difficoltà che, puntualmente, minano l'animo umano.
Contro l'ineluttabile destino nulla si può, ma è possibile riconoscere il proprio posto nel percorso della vita ed accettare senza distrazioni. Prima o poi le azioni verranno valutate in base all'importanza che gli diamo. Vorrei fare un appunto sulla bellissima voce femminile che pizzica il cuore agli spettatori: bravissima, elegante e commovente.

I admit it, I approached Cakra Buana with a lot of mistrust. Perhaps excessive. I thought of the usual film with the classic moral and the Karma tour that never fails. I was completely wrong and I have to give this musical the right space for its size.
Plot
After wandering for several years, Chakra returns to his small village. After returning home, he discovers that his village has lost peace due to the next dry season. The declining health of the village leader has made it worse and forces his son, who is Chakra, to lead in the midst of the catastrophe. His closest friends, Birawa and Laksmi who are brothers, the presence strengthen Chakra in difficult moments. Birawa sees her sister and Chakra happy together and believes their presence can help Cakra. Desperate to become a leader, Cakra eventually leads his people during the dry season, but fails miserably. The villagers, angry at the fact that Chakra rejected his advances, demanded his responsibility. Cakra reveals that he wants to be left alone. Laksmi comforts Cakra, but reluctantly hurts her. Meanwhile, people who do not like Cakra support Galuh to take the lead. And apparently Galuh uses the situation to disturb the people closest to Cakra, including Laksmi.
Who is Galuh? Why does he intentionally add bitterness to Cakra's life?
Cakra Buana is not just about the life of Chakra, it's a story about the tortuous journey of the wheel of life that humans have to overcome, and sometimes the human can not really elude it.
Well, from the plot you have asked yourself: we are the usual ones. And instead it is precisely here that the magic starts. Spectacular music and wonderful voices will animate the story of Cakra like no one in recent years and with a budget of less than 10,000 euros, have ever done. Congratulations to the director Massimo Burhanuddin and to Enry Johan Jaohari for the music. Excellent settings, great scenes, excellent photography and superb direction. The music will give a touch of superiority not just. The feature film deals with dramatic themes and focuses on the pitfalls of life and the thousand difficulties that, in time, undermine the human soul. Nothing can be done against the ineluctable destiny, but it is possible to recognize one's own place in the path of life and to accept without distractions. Sooner or later the actions will be evaluated based on the importance we give them. I would like to make a note on the beautiful female voice that pinches the heart to the spectators: very good, elegant and moving.
